The identSystem establishes a new quality of co-located collaborative VR. As users can see each other physically rather than only by avatars, non-verbal communication through facial expressions and gesturing is almost unencumbered, in strong contrast to what is possible with head mounted displays, even with very high fidelity virtual avatars. This will speed up development and reviews, especially in decision making phases where different management levels up to the CEO have to be sure which way the development shall go.
Basically we are able to show for each observer the corresponding 3D perspective by showing the necessary images successively. When you move the slider in figure 1 you are able to see, that each observer sees only the corresponding perspective, the other will be completely not visible, experts speak here of no ghosting. We developed the identLED exactly for this use case and all the components are optimized to meet the highest expectations.

Since it would be very unconvenient to shut and open your eyes, we have realized this with lightweight shutter glasses which are similar to normal sun glasses. The implementation avoids crosstalk by using high-end components. Additionally, a user interface attached to the glasses will help to control basic function of the system.
Depending if you need a system from scratch or if you have already a normal 3D system, we are able to adapt your system. According to your 3D visualization software, we are able to connect that with our identSystem to produce stunning 3D impressions for more than one user on one screen.
Our passion are multiviewer 3D systems. We love to push the technology at the leading edge of the technology and beyond. Whoever used a high-end 3D display is stunned by the impression of the virtual content. This could be a 3D monitor, a powerwall or head-mounted devices (HMD) like VR-headsets.
Neverthless, if you want to share your impressions with your colleagues, all systems do have a lack of real co-working capabilities. With 3D monitors and powerwalls you do have reductions in resolution to show each observer their perspective or you do not have even the correct perspective for further observers. With HMDs you cannot even see your colleague or just see an virtual avatar with very reduces gestures and facial expressions. While playing with such displays can be awesome, in the real business world it could be cumbersome. A decision-making process will be delayed or even worse, it will lead to a wrong decision.
Our system will overcome this restrictions by full-resolution perspective for each observer in flicker-free 3D with full interaction with your colleagues for a outstanding working result.
